2024 Scholarship Contest Winners!

The District Oratorical and CCDHH finals were held at our 3rd quarter conference a few days ago at the Chattahoochee Technical College Acworth campus. The District Essay Contest winner was also recognized at the conference. The students did a magnificent job presenting their Oratorical and CCDHH speeches on “How to Change the World with Optimism“!

The CCDHH final was held in the morning and consisted of a speaking and a signing category.

At lunchtime we heard from our District Essay winner Natalie Long   A junior from Model high school in Rome.  Sponsored by the Rome Noon club.. The topic for this year was “Optimism: How It Connects Us”

2023 District Fundraising Raffle

Win up to $5,000 in our raffle!

The GATEway District’s fundraising raffle tickets are on sale NOW! And if you ain’t in it, you ain’t gonna win it! Ticket price is $100 per ticket. The GATEway District is asking each of our clubs to sell tickets not only to our membership, but to the general public as well.

The success of this raffle will have a significant impact on the services and programs the district will offer to its clubs, membership, and the communities they serve. Help the GATEway District help you, your club, and your community. The challenge is for every ticket a member buys, two are sold to non-members. Come on, let’s make this fundraiser a roaring success!

The goal is to sell 300 tickets and raise $25,000. That’s approximately 5 tickets per Club. Don’t miss out on this fun way to support the GATEway District and win big. The cutoff date for purchasing tickets is August 5, 2023.

Raffle proceeds will be used to provide services to Clubs and District events, training, conferences, convention, marketing efforts and scholarship programs.
