The GATEway District and Dalton State College are teaming up to produce this year’s District Oratorical Contest and Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Our future stars will be coming out all across Eastern Tennessee and Georgia. This promises to be the most inspiring, uplifting youth public speaking event ever. Don’t miss it! Bring your club members, bring your friends, Bring future Optimist members and support these outstanding young public speakers!

 

The Oratorical Finals will be held from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon in the Goodroe Auditorium at Dalton State College.

 

 

 

 

 

The CCDHH Finals will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the Goodroe Auditorium at Dalton State College.

Friday afternoon there is an opportunity to make a glass blown ornament at the iGNiS Glass Studio. Friday evening there’ll be a dinner an movie featuring the “Sting”.

On Saturday attendees will participate in interactive training on growth and leadership. Greet our regional Vice President and end the day with a 1920’s-30’s vintage dress party as we celebrate the accomplishments of Immediate Past Governor Mary Still and her team.
